The X-MET 3000TX is lightweight, rugged, handheld x-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer which incorporates the advanced Svetlana x-ray tube technology, the most rugged x-ray tube with the best service history in the industry. The X-MET 3000TX XRF analyzer provides a fast and simple way to perform scrap metal sorting or Positive Material Identification (PMI) for alloys outside in the field, inside in the laboratory, or on-site for Quality Control (QC) in the production facilities. Grade ID of a sample is obtained in as little as 2-5 seconds and full sample chemistry in 5-10 seconds. The high-resolution Peltier cooled Si-PIN Diode Detector allows analysis of the 25 most common elements from Ti to U. The user interface includes an excellent touch screen color display and easy-to-use menu for effortless use in daily work. The standard software enables full PC compatibility to process the measurement results through standard programs such as Microsoft Excel and can be used to store and process the data and to generate custom reports.
