Versatile materials analyzer

Testing a vast range of materials – solids, powders or liquids – the X-MET8000 is ideal for analyzing metals, soils, wood, plastics, glass, oils and more. The analysis is non-destructive and leaves no test mark.

Anyone can work it anywhere

Lightweight, compact and portable, the X-MET8000 is operated by an icon-based touch-screen and comes pre-calibrated for many applications. Easy to use and its military-grade durability is more than a match for the dirtiest, hottest and most hostile environments. In addition, an optional window shield can protect the detector from sharp and rough materials.

Measure up to 40 elements with our standard soil calibration; create empirical calibrations tailored to your specific requirements without having to return the analyser to the factory. A blank and certified soil check samples are provided to ensure measurement traceability and accuracy.

Withstands the harshest environments and weather conditions, X-MET is IP54 compliant (equivalent to NEMA 3) for protection against dust and water, and tested to the MIL-STD-810G military standard for ruggedness.

Intuitive user interface with large icons that can be used with gloves on. Its customisable 4.3′ colour touchscreen provides excellent results visibility even in direct sunlight. Only minimal training is needed.

Store up to 100,000 results on the analyser, download them to a USB stick or PC in CSV format or tamper-proof PDF. Print results on-site on a portable Bluetooth printer and attach them to sample bags to avoid mix-ups.
